Card made with the My Favorite Things Llama Love and The Whole Herd stamp sets. I masked and stamped the images, added some details with a black Copic pen then used Copic and Stampin' Up markers to color it. The whole colored picture is one layer except for the added "HAY," banner.
On the inside I added another llama and a banner that says "I LLIKE YOU YOU'RE A LLAMA FUN".
It took a while to color but I really enjoyed doing it.

Inspired Sympathy
I like the inchie designs that Jacqueline makes and also this card from ChelleSnow on Splitcoast so I decided to make some squares of my own. These are 1.5" square. I like the blue and brown combination so started with it. Now I will have to try some other colors.
The wood look background was made with an embossing folder. I used a light brown cardstock and inked the folder with Chocolate Chip ink before running it through my Big Shot. After embossing I lightly rubbed my Crumb Cake ink pad over it to give it more wood texture.

Colour Me #20
Wow, this card for the Colour Me #20 card challenge took longer to make than I thought it would.
The colors for the challenge are Crushed Curry and Midnight Muse. The dark blue patterned paper is Midnight Muse but I did not have Midnight Muse ink so I used Not Quite Navy.
The light blue is dry embossed cardstock with Not Quite Navy sponged over the top. The dot cardstock is also dry embossed but I put it directly on the ink pad to color it. All the circles as well as the flowers and music notes are punched.

Simple Thank You
One layer cards are always a little difficult for me but I really like the way this one turned out.
I took the Less is More #171 one layer card challenge and the Make It Monday #164 cluster stamped sentiment challenge and combined them.
The white embossed sentiment was over stamped with single dots in three sizes from the Papertrey Ink Polka Dot Basics stamp set. I used the colors Green Galore, Daffodil Delight, Cameo Coral and Almost Amethyst from Stampin' Up.

Best Wishes Doily
Friday Mashup #159 called for stencils and a retiring stamp set. The heart doily stencil is one I designed and cut with my Silhouette. I sponged over it with SU Rose Red and Cherry Cobbler. The sentiment is from the retiring SU hostess set Express Yourself and is stamped with black ink.
The card layout is from Case this Sketch #75.
I layered the banner on black and stitched across the top with black thread. Simple and sweet. Great for a wedding card.

Mother's Day
Mother's Day is coming up and this card is for my Mom.
I used the sketch from CAS(e) this-Sketch #74, the "Mother" theme from The Paper Players #194 challenge and the color challenge from Less is More #170.
The word Mother and matching background are water colored and splattered on watercolor paper with Stampin' Up colors Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose and Melon Mambo. I also used a white Zig Chalk Writer marker to add the white splatters. The word and black mat were cut on my Silhouette and I hand cut the angled background and mat. I sponged the edges of the light pink background with Regal Rose and mounted everything on a white card base. The flowers are punched from leftover watercolor background with a lighter punched circle and a black pearl in the centers.

Make It Monday #162
I made another pie chart card. This one is for Make It Monday #162. Melissa Phillips did a video and challenged us to use our paper scraps and create a pie chart with them.
The scallop circle is cut with a Nestabilities die and the button is four layers of punched cardstock. The bow is craft twine and the sentiment is from the Delightful Dahlia Additions stamp set.

Graduation
My nephew graduates from college tomorrow and this is his card. The five colors I chose for the Colour Me Card Challenge are red, orange, green, blue and purple.
The front panel is die cut with a Nestabilities die and the cap design is mounted behind it. I made the graduation cap and tassel and stamped the sentiment. Those layers are mounted with foam adhesive to the black cardstock and white card base.

CAS-ual Fridays #131
"Three of something... on just 1/3 of the card." That is the challenge on CAS-ual Fridays #131.
These three kids are ready to celebrate! They are paper pieced and Copic colored and have a thin black cardstock border to make them stand out. The background and sentiment label are denim stamped and layered with a dot embossed panel.
I rounded the two right corners and used an oval punch to achieve the rounded end on the label. The "brads" on the label and stitching were drawn with a fine tip black marker.

Dragonfly Greetings
For Freshly Made Sketches #133 and CASology #92 entries I used my paper pieced dragonfly. The background and banner are stamped and the floral doily I designed and cut on my Silhouette.
The dragonfly body is made with die cut print cardstock and the wings are die cut mesh. The eyes are black cardstock with a white pen highlight.

Water Splats
I'm joining in on two different challenges today. The colors for Color Throwdown #289 are Perfect Plum, Blushing Bride and Wild Wasabi. I don't have Blushing Bride so I substituted Regal Rose.
To meet the requirements for Make It Monday #161 I used the "Watercolor Splats" technique that Nichole demonstrated and cut it up into squares for the background. They are mounted on black cardstock then the white card base. I used the Delightful Dahlia Additions stamp set for the flower and sentiment. The white sentiment banner is stamped with black and mounted on black cardstock. The flower is stamped with Regal Rose, the leaves with Wild Wasabi and they are hand cut. I added the black dots to the center of the flower with a fine point black marker.

Freshly Made Sketches #132
One of my favorite parts of paper crafting is making paper pieced designs. This sheep is one I designed a number of years ago when I was selling at craft shows. I thought it was perfect for this Freshly Made Sketches card sketch challenge.
The sign is also paper pieced and the inside of the card says "...Happy Baaaaa-rthday!!".
I used the edge of my Creamy Caramel ink pad to make the wood grain on the kraft cardstock.
This was definitely a fun card to make!

Friday Mashup #155
Spring has sprung and Easter is on the way! My shaped card for Friday Mashup #155 is an Easter basket overflowing with eggs. I didn't have the exact colors so I matched them as closely as I could.
I designed and cut the basket card base on my Silhouette and added the woven front and band. To make the weaving stand out I sponged light grey around the edges of the strips of cardstock and around the edges of the remainder of the card front.
The eggs (including the cross) and grass were also cut on my Silhouette. I layered brown cardstock between two egg layers to color the cross. The designs on the rest of the eggs were done with Copic markers.
I love to make shaped cards so this was a lot of fun!

CAS-ual Fridays #130
Ovals was the theme for CAS-ual Fridays current challenge.
I came up with a saying to go with this bear stamp and couldn't stamp it so I printed it out on my printer instead. The inside says "...and doing a little "happy dance" in your honor."
I stamped the bear in brown ink and colored it with my Prismacolor Pencils. Oval Nestabilities were used to cut it out and I simply mounted it on the card front layers with foam tape to give it a little dimension. Clean, simple and easy!

Color Throwdown #287
The pastel hues for Color Throwdown #287 are Soft Sky, Barely Banana and Pistachio Pudding.
The main part of the card is a faux stitched and dry embossed frame for the baby bunny to peek through. I used a different embossing pattern on each color and cut the oval with a Nestabilities die. The word BABY was cut on my Silhouette and the welcome is stamped.
The bunny is a stamp design I made several years ago. I stamped and fussy cut it before adhering it into the hole. The final touch was the punched border at the lower edge of the quilt.

More Turquoise
More turquoise and another double challenge card. I used the Dynamic Duos #97 color combo and the Cardabilities Sketch #96.
I designed and cut the turquoise doily on my Silhouette and layered a piece of vellum over it to make the color a little less intense. The turquoise and Melon Mambo splatters are stamped on the vellum.
The flower was designed and cut on my Silhouette and layered over the sentiment banner. I colored the photo corners dark brown with a Copic marker to match the banner border and the center of the flower. The bottom layers are Melon Mambo and a white card base. I guess this card shows that you can use a lot of layers and still have a fairly clean and simple card!

A Touch of Turquoise
I'm playing along with two challenges today. This clean and simple card meets the challenges on "Less is More" and Case this Sketch.
The background is stamped and I designed and cut the greeting on my Silhouette Cameo. Black was my contrast color of choice to help distinguish the letters and make it easier to read.
Narrow layers of color around the edge add just the right touch to pull everything together.

Freshly Made Sketches #129
My first Freshly Made Sketches #129 card is for celebrating!
The birthday cupcake stamp is paper pieced to match the background.
I used patterned papers from the American Crafts "Hip Hip Hooray" 6" x 6" paper pad. The dark red card stock the pieces are mounted on gives them the pop they need to stand out.
The cupcake scallop circle is mounted on dimensional adhesive to give it even more dimension.

Friday Mashup #152
This week the Friday Mashup challenges are a one layer card and/or a nautical theme. This card has more than one layer so it is strictly nautical.
The Kraft card stock is stamped with a splatter background to create a sandy beach. I used a medium brown ink and stamped it off on some scrap paper before stamping the sand. The water is a piece of thin vellum that had some wispy white on it. I cut the wavy edge with deckle scissors and added some pale blue on the back with a Copic marker. It was narrow enough to run through my Xyron to add adhesive to the whole back side so it would not show through.
The starfish and shells were stamped with a light grey and colored with markers. The sentiment is dark brown
