Butterfly Celebration

One of my nieces turned 15 this month and I created a card like this for her. I liked it so much I had to make some more.

I used We R Memory Keepers paper for the background and punched the butterflies out of matching card stock with the SU Butterfly punch. The body of the butterfly is cut from a black punched May Flower using one of Fiskars Squeeze punches.

I sponged the wing edges with SU inks: Bravo Burgundy on the red, More Mustard on the yellow and Close to Cocoa on the burgundy. I also curled the wings around a pen to give them a little dimension. The antenna are drawn with a black Micron Pigma #1 pen.

I used the retired Wonderful Words stamp set from Stampin' Up for the greeting. It is stamped with SU Basic Black ink.

Thanks for your interest,
Deb
